Butter Chicken

RECIPE FOR THE PERFECT BUTTER CHICKEN

1Kg Chicken Pieces

Cooking Oil /Ghee

1 tablespoon Methie (Fenugreek Seeds)

1 tablespoon Ginger Garlic Pste (OPTIONAL)

2 Tomatoes-Liquidised

1 Tablespoon Osmans Taj Mahal Curry powder Hot/Med/Mild

1 500ml tub Fresh cream

METHOD

Wash, cut and drain Chicken pieces

Heat cooking oil or ghee in a pot

Add chopped onions and braise till golden brown

Add methie seeds(fenugreek seeds) and braise

Add in Chicken pieces

Add in Garlic paste if desired

Add Osmans Taj Mahal curry powder Hot/Med/Mild and allow to cook

Add tomatoes and allow to cook till meat is tender

Add fresh cream and allow to simmer

Garnish with fresh coriander and methie

Enjoy with fresh parathas or roti.
