Chicken Curry

Recipe for the Perfect Chicken Curry

Ingredients

  • 1 or 2 Kg Mutton or Lamb
  • 1 large Onion Chopped
  • ½ Teaspoon Jeera  (CUMIN SEEDS)
  • 3 pieces of cinnamon sticks
  • 4 whole black pepper
  • 3 cloves
  • 1 Teaspoon Osman’s Taj Mahal Chilli powder
  • ½ Teaspoon Osman’s Taj Mahal Tumeric powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Osman’s Taj Mahal Dhania Jeera (CORRIANDER AND CUMIN)
  • 2 level teaspoon of salt
  • 2 Teaspoon ginger and garlic
  • 2 tomatoes
  • Cooking Oil or ghee

Method

  • Wash cut and drain meat
  • Heat the cooking oil or ghee in a pot
  • Add chopped onions in and allow to braise
  • Add all the whole spices (CUMIN,PEPPER,CINNAMON AND CLOVES)
  • Braise onions until golden brown.
  • Add meat and the ginger and garlic paste.
  • Add all spice blends (CHILLI,TUMERIC,CUMIN&CORRIANDER AND SALT)
  • Add tomatoes and allow to cook  .
  • Add water if desired and garnish with fresh coriander
  • Enjoy !.
