Recipe for the Perfect Chicken Curry
Ingredients
- 1 or 2 Kg Mutton or Lamb
- 1 large Onion Chopped
- ½ Teaspoon Jeera (CUMIN SEEDS)
- 3 pieces of cinnamon sticks
- 4 whole black pepper
- 3 cloves
- 1 Teaspoon Osman’s Taj Mahal Chilli powder
- ½ Teaspoon Osman’s Taj Mahal Tumeric powder
- 1 Teaspoon Osman’s Taj Mahal Dhania Jeera (CORRIANDER AND CUMIN)
- 2 level teaspoon of salt
- 2 Teaspoon ginger and garlic
- 2 tomatoes
- Cooking Oil or ghee
Method
- Wash cut and drain meat
- Heat the cooking oil or ghee in a pot
- Add chopped onions in and allow to braise
- Add all the whole spices (CUMIN,PEPPER,CINNAMON AND CLOVES)
- Braise onions until golden brown.
- Add meat and the ginger and garlic paste.
- Add all spice blends (CHILLI,TUMERIC,CUMIN&CORRIANDER AND SALT)
- Add tomatoes and allow to cook .
- Add water if desired and garnish with fresh coriander
